Overview

Lycopodium Taguig, National Capital Region, Philippines. Lycopodium Philippines is currently recruiting for a Piping Designer to join our Piping Team in Manila.

Join to apply for the Piping Designer role at Lycopodium. The Piping Designer will be an integral part of the drafting and design team in producing project drafting deliverables and developing conceptual designs for project implementation.

Responsibilities
  • Producing company and industry standard models and design drawings from the design engineer calculations and sketches.
  • Follow and implement all relevant company standards and procedures and ensure design drawings comply with all relevant Australian and International Standards.
  • Produce plant layouts from preliminary project data and design information.
  • Register and file all relevant project documentation in accordance with the company approved procedures.
  • Review vendor drawings and design data.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to quality improvement of design and safety.
  • Ensure project design data is disseminated to other project team members in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Work with a range of internal and external stakeholders to meet project design work criteria and deliverables.
The expertise you'll bring
  • University Degree in Engineering Design Drafting or 3+ years’ experience in a similar role with relevant industry experience.
  • Proficiency in the design layout and detailing of chemical, pharmaceutical or refinery process plants.
  • Experience in OpenPlant Modeller and PID.
  • Experience in gold, base metals and iron ore is advantageous.
  • Proven time management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
