Job Title: Resort Manager
Job SummaryOversee resort operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maximizing revenue, and maintaining high standards of quality, service and hospitality.
- *Strategic Planning*: Develop and implement business strategies to drive revenue growth, improve guest satisfaction and enhance resort reputation.
- *Operations Management*: Supervise front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, recreation and maintenance departments.
- *Guest Relations*: Ensure exceptional customer service, resolve complaints and improve guest satisfaction.
- *Revenue Management*: Optimize room rates, occupancy and revenue through yield management techniques.
- *Financial Management*: Manage budgets, forecast revenue and control expenses.
- *Human Resources*: Recruit, train and develop staff to ensure high-quality service.
- *Quality Control*: Maintain resort facilities, amenities and services to highest standards.
- *Marketing and Sales*: Collaborate with marketing team to promote resort and negotiate contracts.
- *Health, Safety and Security*: Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain emergency response plans.
- *Compliance*: Adhere to industry regulations, laws and company policies.
- Hospitality or business management degree
- 3+ years resort management experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Financial management and analytical skills
- Customer service and conflict resolution expertise
- Time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in hospitality software (e.g., PMS, CRS)
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field
- Certified Hospitality Manager (CHM) or Certified Resort Manager (CRM) designation preferred
- Relevant certifications (e.g., food safety, first aid)
- Resort or hotel environment
