Overview

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of solid experience in accounting and financial management, preferably with a background in public accounting or bookkeeping. Proficiency in accounting software such as CaseWare and QuickBooks Online (QBO) is essential, along with strong skills in Microsoft Office 365 , particularly Excel.

Key responsibilities include preparing interim financial statements, performing related financial analysis, and managing accounts receivable and payable. While the role offers flexible working hours, availability between 7 AM and 2 PM (Vancouver time) is preferred.

  • Manage accounting functions for multiple companies at various capacities via QBO.
  • Prepare and analyze interim financial statements, budgets and forecasting.
  • Oversee and manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely collections and customer relations.
  • Oversee and manage accounts payable, maintaining supplier relationships.
  • Perform accurate and timely bank reconciliations, ensuring consistency between books and bank statements.
  • Record and review journal entries and general ledger postings, maintaining clean and organized financial records.
  • Maintain and enforce accounting policies and procedures to ensure operational consistency and audit readiness.
  • Working together with and providing financial guidance to other departments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a related role.
  • Proficient in QBO, Caseware and advanced Excel.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity in North America Accounting Standards / GAAP is an advantage
