I. JOB IDENTIFICATION

JOB TITLE : SALES DATA ANALYST

REPORTS TO : NATIONAL SALES MANAGER

DEPARTMENT : COMMERCIAL DIVISION

SUPERVISES/OVERSEES : N/A

II. JOB SUMMARY

The Sales Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting sales data to provide actionable insights that support sales strategy, performance monitoring, and business decision-making.

III. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collect, clean, and analyze sales data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key metrics and trends.
• Interpret data to identify patterns, correlations, and opportunities for sales growth.
• Collaborate with sales teams to translate insights into strategic actions.
• Monitor sales performance against targets and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Support forecasting and planning activities with data-driven insights.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to address specific business questions or challenges.

IV. MINIMUM JOB SPECIFICATIONS

• A. Education/License: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
• B. Years and Type of Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in data analysis, preferably in a sales or business environment.
• C. Related Skills/Knowledge: Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI platforms.
• D. Basic Training Requirement: Training in advanced Excel functions, basic SQL queries, and data visualization tools.

The Sales Data Analyst is accountable for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all sales data used for reporting and analysis.

Develop solutions using Data Analysis tools primarily, but not limited to Splunk and Power BI.

• Create dashboard and reports to capture the information/data required for analysis and generate reports for clients to gain insights on their obligations business and operation performance.
• Determine dashboard functions to be developed based on client's business needs and objectives.
• Conduct trouble shooting to resolve issues faced with the Splunk and Power BI Software.
• Working with clients and partner to develop algorithms to generate insight.
• Working with mobile team to transfer insight into business value.
• Knowledge to incorporate AI in developing algorithms, analysis, and insights.
• Develop data governance to the development and support team.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree/ Higher Diploma in Information Technology or Business Information systems.
• A solid foundation and understanding of the relevant IT industry.
• Proactive, self-motivated, able to work in a high-pressure environment, customer oriented, and a team player with good troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of SQL required, Team Communication Platforms like Slack, Trello, Zendesk, Microsoft Office.
