Sr. Analyst, Accounting

Location SC Johnson Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines Job Summary Senior Analyst, Accounting role at SC Johnson. This position supports the Associate Finance Manager and Finance Manager. Primary responsibilities include financial data management, reporting and analysis; statutory and corporate tax reporting and compliance; SOAR compliance; BIR audits; vendor payments; travel & expense management; process documentation and document file management. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Intercompany billings for recurring SSC charges and other billings. Fixed asset management: capitalization, retirement, transfer, depreciation. Balance sheet account analysis and period-end closing: manual journal entries, accruals, review of P&L. Processing vendor payment transactions for submission to Accounts Payable. Statutory compliance for filing and payment of internal revenue taxes and pension plan benefit for ROHQ. Travel & expense management: cash advance, reimbursement/liquidation, corporate credit card. Assistance to completion of tax packages required by corporate tax. Support completion of BIR audits, transfer pricing review, preparation of financial statements and annual audit. Manage SOAR testing and ensure compliance with internal controls. Assistance to Corplan activities and functional analysis. Process document filing in support of internal and external audits. Resolution and expertise standpoint in finance and tax-related queries. Finance ROHQ playbook management: local policies for Human Resource and Finance aligned with Global policies. Finance-related communications and orientation/training. Required Skills / Experience / Competencies Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or business with strong accounting and technical skills. Certified Public Accountant (CPA). SAP experience is an advantage. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with advanced Excel functions. 3-5 years management experience within Finance, preferably in an FMCG company. Can manage highly sensitive data/situations. Must Have Strong knowledge of Accounting Processes and Controls. Strong strategic and analytical skills. Strong knowledge of various taxes and statutory regulations. Strong systems and process orientation with good project management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong people management skills. Exposure to Internal Controls. Desirables SAP/BPC experience an advantage. Excellent time management skills. Strong negotiation skills. Previous experience in multi-cultural teams. Job Requirements Full-time, direct employment. Onsite work setup; once a week work-from-home after 3 months. Work Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM or 9 AM - 6 PM (Mondays to Fridays). Overtime may be required depending on the critical deliverable.
