Job Description- Perform month-end financial statement closing, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded, including revenue, expenses, prepayments, and depreciation.
- Prepare, analyze, and report financial performance against key metrics, assessing profitability and operational effectiveness.
- Assist in financial activities for reporting and support management decision-making.
- Collaborate with finance team members on billing, payments, and account reconciliations.
- Ensure adherence to billing and collection schedules and optimize vendor terms.
- Coordinate with department heads for business review and project documentation; address financial reporting queries.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts aligned with company needs.
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Assist in preparing financial regulatory reports, such as annual statements.
- Generate ad-hoc financial reports and analysis for internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accountancy.
- CPA qualification is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Experience in Big 4 firms or insurance industry focusing on regulatory functions is preferred.
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations related to insurance.
