Role Summary 1 1

Product Owner responsible for leading the development and management of a product, consistent with the company’s vision and goals. Their primary responsibilities include defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, prioritizing and managing the product backlog, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of the product.

Responsibilities
  • Drives the vision for the product by being the voice of the customer, following a human-centered design approach
  • Shapes and manages the product roadmap and product backlog and ensures the product team consistently deliver on the clients needs and wants
  • Validates and tests ideas through recurrent feedback loops to ensure knowledge discovery informs timely direction changes
  • Work with the business architect and other planners to assess current capabilities and identify high level customer requirements
  • Identify and define detailed product requirements and use cases
  • Set up and maintain the Requirements and Traceability deliverable
  • Participate in transitioning the requirements and use cases to the designers and ensure a clear and complete understanding of the requirements
  • Assist in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product performance user acceptance and operational acceptance testing
  • Participate in quality management reviews in particular reviews of the designs prototypes and other requirements work products to ensure they fulfill the requirements
  • Serve as a resource for the change enablement team as they evaluate training and performance support needs and design the training and performance support products
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in Agile software development environment
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
  • Proven track record of successfully managing product backlogs and delivering products on time and within budget
  • Experience with product management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana
  • Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and techniques is a plus
  • Certification in Agile or Product Management is desirable
