Sr. Pricing Analyst Contractor

Sr. Pricing Analyst Contractor (WFH; Tue-Sat) - SQL, Advanced Excel

We are looking for someone who is passionate, dedicated, and excited to get hands-on experience with large scale data and pricing analysis. The right candidate should be a marketing-minded analyst who enjoys diving into data and is eager to grow a career in data analytics to come up with creative ways to increase efficiency for the company’s pricing processes.

• Work with cross functional teams to analyze, recommend, implement and promote product pricing, taking into consideration individual brand strategy, customer perceived value and competitive environment while maximizing gross profit
• Create financial models to calculate and forecast the impact of price changes on product mix, revenue and gross margin
• Gather competitive and internal pricing and sales data as needed
• Analyze the impact of pricing changes, product updates, discounts, promotions and other sales and marketing activities
• Proactively communicate pricing project objectives, status, barriers and results to peers in the organization
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative or analytical field (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or Engineering) required. Master’s degree preferred
• 5+ years’ experience in an analytical field. Experience in analyzing prices, generating analysis based on data gathered for pricing, product management and shipping concepts is preferred
• Should be comfortable working with large data sets
• Advanced quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills
• Creative and innovative thinker with an ability to translate complex ideas, sophisticated analyses and metrics into simple, actionable strategy
• Experience in product pricing in e-commerce a plus
• Experience in building financial models a plus
• Hands-on experience using reporting software (advanced Excel, SQL knowledge a must; experience in Tableau, VBA, Power BI preferred)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Articulate in both written and verbal English communication
