Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Tester to join our team. This role involves developing and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the high quality and performance of our applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test cases using tools like Selenium, Playwright, and TestNG.
• Build and maintain robust test automation frameworks.
• Identify, record, and document bugs thoroughly; collaborate with developers to resolve them.
• Participate in sprint planning and daily Agile ceremonies.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports and feedback.
• Continuously improve the automation process and suggest optimizations.
• Stay informed of industry trends, tools, and practices to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards of test code quality.
• Contribute to risk identification and mitigation strategies related to software quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and defect life cycles.
• Experience in designing and executing test cases using defect tracking tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

The QA Tester (Systems) plays a key role in validating the quality, stability, and performance of software applications through both manual and automated testing. Key Responsibilities

Test Design & Development

• Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Develop scalable and maintainable automation frameworks.
• Manage test environments and test data to ensure consistent and reliable execution.

Test Execution

• Run automated test suites for regression, functional, smoke, and performance testing.
• Perform manual testing for exploratory scenarios, usability checks, and cases not covered by automation.
• Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
• Re-test resolved issues and verify fixes in future releases.
• Deliver clear, concise, and actionable test reports to stakeholders.

Continuous Integration & Process Improvement

• Incorporate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in peer reviews of automated test scripts.
• Stay up to date with new tools, methodologies, and best practices in software testing.

Documentation

• Write and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts in alignment with product requirements.
