Full Stack Typescript Developer

• Working Days: Mondays to Fridays if Mid or Night Shift; Tuesdays to Saturdays if Morning Shift
• Available Shift Options (You may choose): PH Morning shift 6 AM, PH Mid shift 5PM or PH Night shift 10 PM

About the Project

We are building a mini social media platform with integrated AI features for a client in the Middle East. The system will be consumer-facing, optimized for high-traffic performance, fast load speeds, and robust caching. You will work closely with the project architect/manager to deliver high-quality, scalable features on both the frontend and backend.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop and maintain frontend features using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Build and maintain backend services using TypeScript, Node.js, and a chosen backend framework.
• Ensure high performance, fast load times, and optimal caching strategies for consumer-facing web applications.
• Collaborate with the project manager/architect in daily stand-ups to review progress and clarify requirements.
• Work from provided requirements, designs, and wireframes to implement features efficiently.
• Commit clean, maintainable code to a shared repository and follow best practices for code reviews and version control.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years professional experience in web development.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript for both frontend and backend development.
• Proven experience with React.js and Next.js in production environments.
• Solid backend experience with Node.js and related frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to build consumer-facing web applications that handle high traffic.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques (e.g., lazy loading, caching strategies, asset optimization).
• Familiarity with modern development workflows (Git, ticketing systems, CI/CD).

Good to have skills:

• Experience with Tailwind CSS or other modern styling frameworks.
• Knowledge of Vue.js (optional, but a plus).
• Exposure to AI-integrated applications.
• Previous work in startups or short-term, high-impact projects.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication skills, particularly in English.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to fast-paced environments.
