As the Materials Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of materials and resources for our construction projects in Davao City, Davao del Sur. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing the procurement, storage, and distribution of materials to support the successful delivery of our construction work.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and select construction materials based on cost, performance, availability, and sustainability.
  • Develop material testing plans and quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project standards.
  • Inspect, test, and monitor materials on-site during construction to detect defects or non-conformances.
  • Advise engineers and contractors on proper material selection, usage, and handling practices.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of material testing, inspections, and final compliance checks.
  • Support sustainable building practices by sourcing eco-friendly materials and promoting resource efficiency.
  • Stay updated on emerging materials and technologies to improve future project outcomes.
  • Foster strong supplier relationships and uphold company safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
  • Licensed Civil Engineer
  • Accredited DPWH Materials Engineer
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in construction materials testing, quality control and materials research
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in all Microsoft applications
