Software Developer for Training AI Data - Remote Company: G2i Inc. No new location restrictions apply. Overview You’ll join an expert annotation team to create training data for the world’s most advanced AI language models. No previous AI experience is required. We seek developers with professional coding experience to help train generative AI models to write better code and use tools effectively. Projects involve discrete, variable problems where you interact with these models as they learn. What Will I Be Doing? Auditing AI model’s tool usage and API interactions Reading, writing, and editing JSON files Working with APIs – building, using, and integrating them Solving coding problems in your preferred language Writing test cases to confirm code works efficiently Creating instructions to help train AI models Reviewing and improving technical outputs Expectations: 15+ hours per week, no upper limit. We have developers working 20‑40+ hours. You will be paid weekly per hour of work done on the platform. Long‑term: No end date; work expected for next 2 years. You may end the contract at any time. We encourage commitment to 12 months but understand if it’s not a fit. Flexible Schedules Developers set their own hours—ideal candidates will spend roughly 40 hours a week. Strong performers adapt to project urgency but remain flexible. Hours are tracked via platform activity, not manual logging. Interview Process Apply using Ashby form Resume screening for coding ability Async code review (~35 min, finished within 72 h) Programming assessments in your strongest languages Simulated production‑level task on the platform Required Qualifications Professional coding experience (work, projects, education) Complete fluency in English Strong attention to detail and instruction following Experience with APIs – building, using, integrating Ability to read, write, edit JSON files STEM background with coding experience Problem‑solving and analytical thinking skills Pass fraud and background validation Nice to Haves Professional coding experience in software development or programming role Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or any STEM field Experience with multiple programming languages Familiarity with building and using APIs Technical writing or documentation experience Proven track record of working independently Contributions to coding communities or open source projects Enthusiasm for teaching and training AI systems Your main success factor is attention to detail and instruction following.
