Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and create game-ready assets (characters, environments, props, effects)
  • Develop UI elements such as icons, HUD, menus, and buttons
  • Collaborate with game designers and developers for asset integration
  • Ensure style consistency across visual assets
  • Participate in concept development, mood boards, and visual explorations
  • Optimize assets for mobile and/or PC performance
  • Provide input on visual feedback, animation, and polish

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in 2D or 3D art for games (portfolio required)
  • Proficient in tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Spine, Blender, or Unity
  • Strong understanding of color, composition, and visual hierarchy
  • Ability to adapt to different art styles (casual, stylized, realistic, pixel, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred (but not required):

  • Familiarity with Unity, Unreal, or Godot game engines
  • Animation or VFX experience (2D rigging or particle systems)
  • Basic knowledge of game UI/UX
  • Familiarity with the Philippine game dev scene
  • Have the eye for hyper casual game design
  • Familiarity in rapid prototyping
