Job Description: The position is responsible for evaluating Basic Education learning resources based on the approved curriculum and product design. It shall also perform meticulous content and language editing of manuscripts to align with content development and language standards. The position will require close collaboration with authors to perform developmental evaluation, content editing, and language editing and with content development supervisors during the validation of works. Job Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary or Secondary Education, Communication, English, Filipino, Linguistics, Journalism, Curriculum Studies, or related field depending on the subject area; Master’s units or degree in related field is preferred At least 8 years of teaching experience in the field of expertise with deep understanding of curriculum frameworks, instructional design, pedagogical approaches, and forms of assessment At least 2 years of experience in content development, book evaluation, and/or instructional design development Experience in educational publishing as editor and/or evaluator is preferred Job Summary: The position ensures the quality and curriculum alignment of Basic Education learning resources. It involves evaluating manuscripts, performing content and language editing, and ensuring adherence to content development and language standards.
