About this role Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field Has taken some courses in taxation (U.S. taxation) At least two (2) years of experience working in a public accounting firm, performing work related to taxes (U.S. taxation) Possesses familiarity with U.S. tax regulations and knowledge of specific tax forms Has a well-rounded knowledge of U.S. generally accepted accounting principles or IFRS Has experience in the preparation of federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships (for U.S. based clients) Has experience performing schedule computations of accruals and property and equipment, and calculating depreciation expense Experience with tax software (U.S. tax software is a plus) Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word Strong English proficiency, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with U.S.-based clients and colleagues Ability to explain tax concepts clearly and concisely Possess the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple client engagements efficiently Strong organizational skills for managing tax deadlines Self-motivated and disciplined, with the ability to work independently Possesses the ability to punctually enter time worked to support efficient billing processes Willing to invest the time to understand the Firm's tax preparation policies and approach Willing to perform other accounting and tax-related tasks as needed on engagements and as assigned by supervisory personnel #J-18808-Ljbffr
