Job SummaryThe QA/QC Engineer ensures that all construction activities comply with project specifications, standards, and quality requirements. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, monitoring materials and workmanship, preparing quality reports, coordinating with project teams, and implementing corrective actions to maintain high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
ExperienceMinimum 3–5 years experience in QA/QC works (site & fabrication).
Core KnowledgeQuality Management Systems (ISO 9001). ITP, Method Statements, QCP, NCR, RFI, and document control.
Skills- Inspection & Testing (fit-up, welding, NDT, civil works, coating, electrical).
- Report writing, audits, client interface.
- Risk-based thinking, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
- Specialized Trainings: AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) – highly recognized.
- CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector (TWI, UK).
- BGAS/CSWIP Painting Inspector for coating/painting QA/QC.
- ASNT/PCN Level II (RT, UT, MT, PT) – for NDT inspection.
