Overview

The PPIC Staff is responsible for ensuring the efficient planning and execution of production schedules and managing inventory levels to meet customer demands and company objectives. This role involves coordinating with various departments, maintaining accurate records, and implementing strategies to optimize resources and minimize costs.

Responsibilities

  • Production Planning & Recording: Monitor production schedules based on customer orders, forecast demand, and production capacity. Coordinate with production teams to ensure on-time completion of orders. Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in priorities or resource availability. Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and production activities. Generate reports on production efficiency, inventory turnover and material usage.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and control raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts. Perform regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies. Ensure proper inventory storage, handling, and tracking procedures. Report on inventory status and production progress to PPIC Head.
  • Communications: Communicate with sales and production teams to align operations with sales requirements.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Coordinate dispatch schedules and monitor deliveries based on assigned routes and schedules. Communicate with drivers for updates on delivery schedules and delays. Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate packing and loading of items. Report and document any vehicle issues or repairs. Perform any other tasks assigned by the head.

Education & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accountancy or related field.
  • Experience: 1–2 years in production planning, inventory control, or similar role (entry-level candidates with relevant internships are welcome).

Skills

  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and supply chain principles is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Team player with proactive problem-solving approach. Commitment to continuous learning and improvement. Reliability and punctuality.
