Assistant Project Manager

Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate project activities and resources to support project objectives.
Monitor project progress and report on key metrics, milestones, and deliverables.
Support the project manager in managing project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and technical reports.
Facilitate communication between project team members, stakeholders, and clients.
Help identify and address project issues or risks, and assist in implementing corrective actions.
Prepare and assist in the presentation of project updates, status reports, and presentations.
Ensure that project activities comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
Assist with procurement processes and manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in a support role within engineering or construction projects is preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle project-related challenges effectively.
Understanding of engineering principles and project management methodologies.
Preferred:
Experience with specific engineering sectors or project types.
