Job Description Summary:

The Vice President - IT is a senior-level employee responsible for supporting business center personnel and technologies that support the infrastructure and productivity of 6,000+ SYF employees in the Philippines, working from sites in Manila and Cebu or remotely in the region.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Business Leaders, Operating Leaders in Manila and Cebu, and SYF technology leaders to achieve business and technology goals.
  • Drive IT goals for Manila and Cebu sites by working closely with site and operating leaders.
  • Partner with Enterprise Technology Leaders to deploy solutions and promote seamless collaboration.
  • Manage projects and programs for the company.
  • Work with business and IT teams to develop strategies meeting site-specific needs, aligned with SYF standards and overall strategy.
  • Build cross-functional relationships to share best practices and enhance team effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on technology trends and standards, promoting their adoption within the business.
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems and streamline processes to boost productivity.
  • Ensure adherence to process standards, whether agile or waterfall.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor SLAs and performance of in-country vendors.
  • Lead root cause analysis for issues, ensuring high availability of infrastructure.
  • Maintain security standards and ensure compliance.
  • Incorporate feedback from roundtable discussions into business and IT assessments.
  • Communicate feedback and updates effectively.
  • Uphold and enforce Information Security policies and guidelines, reporting violations and implementing corrective actions.
  • Manage technology P&L for Manila and Cebu sites.
  • Coordinate regulatory compliance related to technology and support PEZA audits.
Mandatory Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science/IT or related field, with 15+ years of IT experience.
  • At least 3 years managing BPO technology infrastructure and programs for 4,000+ users.
  • Willingness to work night shifts and respond to emergencies 24/7, with core hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST.
  • Proven experience as a strategic IT partner with senior leadership.
  • Experience managing EUS infrastructure, data centers, networks, contact center technologies, and enterprise applications.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams in a matrix environment.
  • Strong change management skills and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent decision-making, client relationship, and vendor management skills.
  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Knowledge of contact center technology trends and providers.
  • Effective facilitation and influencing skills across organizational levels.
  • Experience managing scope, requirements, budgets, and schedules of technology projects.
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and certification as a SAFe professional.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Effective communicator with problem-solving skills.
  • No active CAP (Formal/Final Formal).
  • Must have held the current role for at least 24 months.
