Role Summary: As Chief Operating Officer, you will be the strategic architect and driving force behind the company’s operational excellence and scalable growth. You will translate the ambitious vision into an efficient, agile, and high‑performing operational reality. This is a hands‑on, leadership‑critical role where you will oversee all aspects of the supply chain, manufacturing, fulfillment, and overall business operations segments. You will partner closely with the rest of the leadership team to ensure that the operational engine not only supports but accelerates the expansion across all channels. Role Responsibilities: Operational Leadership & Strategy: Develop and execute the company’s operational strategy to support rapid growth in retail, food service, and e‑commerce. Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in quality, cost, and service. Scale Production & Manufacturing: Oversee all food manufacturing and production operations, ensuring they meet the highest standards of food safety, quality, and efficiency. Lead capacity planning and scalability projects. Supply Chain & Logistics Mastery: Manage and optimize the end‑to‑end supply chain—from organic farm sourcing and procurement to inventory management, warehousing, and multi‑channel distribution. Build resilience and agility into our network. Multi‑Channel Fulfillment: Design and implement robust fulfillment operations that seamlessly serve our B2B (retail, food service) and B2C (e‑commerce) customers, ensuring speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Financial & Performance Management: Own the P&L for operations. Develop and monitor KPIs, budgets, and forecasts. Implement data‑driven decision‑making to improve margins and operational throughput. Team Development & Culture: Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing operations team. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, safety, and continuous learning that reflects our company values. Executive Collaboration: Work as a key partner to the CEO, CFO, and heads of Sales & Marketing to align operations with overall business objectives and market opportunities. Qualifications & Experience: Minimum of 10‑15 years of progressive operational leadership experience, with at least 5 years in an executive or senior leadership role (COO, VP Operations, Senior Director). A proven track record in FMCG, food & beverage manufacturing, or agri‑business is essential. Demonstrated success in scaling operations within a growth‑phase company, preferably with experience in managing multi‑channel (retail, food service, e‑commerce) distribution. Deep expertise in supply chain management, lean manufacturing, quality control systems (e.g., HACCP, GMP), and operational finance. Skills & Competencies: Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Ability to develop long‑term strategy while solving day‑to‑day operational challenges with data‑driven insights. Exceptional Leadership: Inspirational leader who can motivate large, diverse teams and develop future leaders. Financial Acumen: Strong business and financial literacy, with experience managing budgets and improving operational EBITDA. Operational Excellence: A zeal for process optimization, technology integration, and building systems for scale.
