Duties and Responsibilities Develop and maintain accurate material plans to ensure timely procurement and availability of resources aligned with production schedules and customer demands. Monitor and adjust inventory to balance stock availability with cost efficiency, minimizing excess and obsolete inventory while avoiding stockouts. Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to analyze budget performance, track spending against forecasts, and identify areas for financial improvement. Identify cost‑saving opportunities across the supply chain and operations, and implement initiatives to improve cost efficiency without compromising quality or service. Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor operational performance, including inventory turnover, order accuracy, and supplier performance. Work closely with production, procurement, finance, and logistics teams to align planning processes and ensure integrated decision‑making. Maintain accurate data in ERP systems related to materials planning, inventory, and cost centers to support reliable reporting and decision‑making. Participate in or lead projects aimed at process improvements, automation, and efficiency gains within supply chain and cost management functions. Act as the subject matter expert for ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and train team members on best practices. Lead cross‑functional initiatives to support new product launches, engineering changes, and production ramp‑ups or slowdowns. Identify and resolve root causes of material shortages or overages; implement corrective actions. Educational Background Bachelor’s degree in a field such as industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, operations management, or supply chain management, or any related course Work Experience 5+ years’ experience and exposure in any of the following fields: Material Planning, Supply Chain Management, Resource Capacity, or IE‑related functions 1–2 years in a lead or senior analyst capacity Strong expertise in ERP systems, data analytics tools, and financial forecasting software.
