1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicants Kick off your accounting career onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa — with the exciting opportunity to shift to a work‑from‑home setup depending on your performance and business needs Key Responsibilities Help maintain accurate SMSF records and data within accounting software (e.g., Xero, Class Super). Prepare annual financial statements, member statements, and tax returns for self‑managed superannuation funds (SMSFs). Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and TBARs as required. Ensure compliance with SIS Act regulations, superannuation rules, and ATO requirements. Process and reconcile contributions, rollovers, pensions, and benefit payments. Maintain accurate fund records including investment movements, income, and member balances. Assist in the administration of SMSF transactions , including contributions, pensions, and rollovers. Client and Auditor Liaison Communicate with clients to request documents and clarify fund activity. Liaise with clients and auditors as required under supervision. Support senior accountants with audit preparation and other SMSF related tasks. Software & Systems Work with SMSF software such Class Super. Assist in data imports, automation of bank/investment feeds, and maintaining clean ledgers. Learning and Development Stay updated on changes to SMSF legislation, ATO rulings, and industry best practices. Participate in technical training and continue developing professional skills. Key Skills & Experience 2–3 years of experience in SMSF accounting within an Australian public practice or specialist firm. Experience with Class Software. Understanding of superannuation rules, SIS compliance, and ATO obligations. Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail. Degree-qualified in Accounting or related specialisations. Strong communication skills and a client‑focused attitude. Organised, dependable, and willing to grow into a senior SMSF role over time. Amenable to work onsite.
