As an AU Fleet Coordinator, you are responsible for:

• Answer customer and recipient queries via a shared email inbox.
• Both senders (our customers) and recipients (our customers’ customer - the people we are delivering to) will email us about deliveries.
• Primary responder and “gate keeper” of this inbox. You will answer what you can, defer to other team members for help.
• Driver Support
• Drivers on the road each day that use Microsoft Teams to communicate with the office. We have dedicated Teams chats for each state and sometimes multiple drivers can ask questions at once. It is your job to have these chats open on screen and jump in to assist whenever you can. All other team members are doing this also but we like our drivers to have as little wait time as possible on a query so need lots of eyes on these chats.
• Delivery progress check
• For Melbourne and Sydney deliveries specifically (Adelaide and Brisbane are already closely monitored by dedicated dispatchers) your role is to check the GPS tracking to see how the delivery drivers are going and escalate any issues to the state manager.
• Once the interstate trucks have been loaded (around 6pm) the deliveries for the next day will be available in the system for assigning to drivers.
• Assign the deliveries based on zones and number of drivers and upload them to our GPS software that will then create routes. You then need to ‘sense check’ the assigning in the GPS software considering a number of factors that are taught to you in training.

• At least 2 years of experience in Customer Service or Administration.
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Time management and multitasking ability
• The ability to work cohesively as part of a team via Microsoft Teams
• Problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail (critical for monitoring deliveries and assigning routes correctly)
• Calm under pressure
• A proactive attitude
