About the role Our Java/Kotlin team works on the Channel Manager, a large‑scale, highly transactional distribution platform for hotels. We are heavily invested in cloud technologies and use asynchronous, reactive and microservice architectures. What You’ll Do Refine and deliver product requirements with minimal support Work with a cross‑functional distributed team in an agile methodology Participate in release and sprint planning Write clean, well‑organised code while making appropriate trade‑offs between performance, robustness and extensibility Support production systems on a shared roster basis Pair‑program, review pull requests and contribute incremental improvements to code and coding practices Mentor and support junior developers Understand and write infrastructure as code What You Have Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) in Java/JVM technologies, preferably Spring Boot Understand microservice architectures and RESTful APIs AWS experience with one or more of the following: EC2, Kinesis, SQS, Lambda, S3 Competent with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Aurora) and key/value store databases (e.g. Cassandra, Redis) Understand CI/CD pipelines, Docker and platform build tools Keep up with best practices, technologies, and programming languages/frameworks Collaborate with product and other teams to deliver high‑quality software Our Perks & Benefits Competitive salary based on your experience Equity packages to join the SiteMinder journey Flexibility to work fully remote or in a hybrid model (in‑office & from home) Excellence‑driven, collaborative and non‑hierarchical culture Mental health and well‑being initiatives Generous parental leave policy (including secondary leave) Paid birthday, study and volunteering leave every year Sponsored social clubs, team events and celebrations Employee Resource Groups (ERG) to connect and get involved Investment in personal growth with training for advancement Does this job sound like you?
