What You'll Do in This Role Be part of our team as a Collection Specialist , where you will oversee credit control and debt collection, manage client relations, and ensure accurate financial records. Visit ) Free 24/7 access to Ortigas and Makati office gyms with a physical fitness trainer Exclusive Emapta Lifestyle perks (hotel and restaurant discounts, and more) Unlimited opportunities for referral incentives Standard government and Emapta benefits 20 annual leaves, with 5 convertible to cash Fun engagement activities for employees Mentorship and exposure to global leaders and teams Career growth opportunities Diverse and supportive work environment What You Need to Succeed College graduate, preferably in accounting or finance Excellent numeracy, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to negotiate terms and resolve disputes Calm under pressure with a diplomatic yet firm approach Proficient data entry and processing skills Intermediate MS Excel knowledge Experience with collection software At least 2 years of experience in collections, customer service, or finance roles Strong time management and ability to prioritize tasks Willingness to work in Ortigas, Pasig, and/or Mandaluyong What You'll Be Handling Credit Management Manage credit control and debt collection by contacting clients with overdue accounts Negotiate payment plans and ensure follow-up until settled Update client records to reflect payment history and arrangements Arrange and attend meetings with clients to resolve disputes or queries Maintain accurate and detailed financial records Provide customer service to resolve outstanding debts Ensure timely reporting, reconciliation, and payment allocation Address client queries on invoices, charges, and payments Handle disputes and provide advice on invoice issues Meet deadlines and issue statements of accounts Adhere to credit control and payment management policies Collaborate with departments for smooth information flow Present relevant information in debt collection meetings and recommend solutions for problematic clients Foster a positive and collaborative team environment Develop strategies to achieve individual and team goals Participate in assigned accounting duties Prepare reports for government compliance Create financial analyses and reports as needed Perform other tasks as delegated by the manager Stakeholder Management Coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate timely payments and address credit-related concerns Identify areas of concern and recommend solutions Track progress of resolutions and drive activities to completion Other Duties Perform administrative or non-administrative duties as assigned by company representatives through written or verbal instructions Join Emapta, recognized as one of the Top 20 Dream Companies for Filipinos in 2024.
