• To assist the BIM Coordinator and Senior BIM Modeller to deliver the allocated projects to meet the project goals and deliverable dates
• To provide 3 stages of drawing work during project execution: Drawing Set-up, Drawing Production and Drawing Submission
• To lead the team in drawing production and standard implementation in strategic direction as instructed by BIM Coordinator
• To support in providing direction in emerging technologies associated with CAD and Revit
• Report to the BIM Coordinator and Senior BIM modeller in charge and perform the tasks assigned
• Provide daily report of project status to Senior BIM modeller
• Notify Senior BIM modeller of any changes to the model or new updated models
• Fully coordinate models with other disciplines using Navisworks ensuring models have limited clashes
• Ensure all models are linked in correctly before modelling
• Liaise with and notify engineer of any design errors or clashes that may occur with other services
• Provide oversight on work-flow within the project and coordinate with Senior BIM Modeller to any issues found
• Assist the Senior BIM modeller with the drawing operation of assigned projects
• Support the engineers with issues related to drawing standards and usage of AutoCAD/Revit software

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• At least 1 year of experience with Revit software, preferably with prior experience with Dynamo
• Job experience in design consulting firm and BIM roles is required
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Overseas experience is an advantage (work in other countries or project design outsourcing company)
• Communicates effectively both orally and in writing
• Has a systematic and methodological approach

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate, coordinated 3D BIM models for electrical systems using Autodesk Revit MEP, ensuring integration with mechanical and plumbing disciplines as required.
• Assist electrical engineers in design input, including cable routing, load summaries, equipment layouts, and any other technical documentation or modelling tasks as required.
• Generate and update electrical drawings, such as layout plans, single-line diagrams, riser diagrams, and panel schedules, in accordance with project standards and local/international codes.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary BIM environment, working closely with architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams to ensure seamless model integration and design coordination.
• Participate in clash detection and model coordination using Navisworks Manage, and assist in resolving issues during internal and external coordination meetings.
• Ensure compliance with BEP and ISO 19650 protocols.
• Support model and drawing management tasks on BIM 360 / ACC or other Common Data Environments (CDEs), including version control and model updates.
• Contribute to the continuous development of BIM workflows, Revit families, and design automation tools to improve efficiency and quality.
• Participate in QA/QC reviews of models and deliverables, ensuring a high standard of accuracy, consistency, and constructability.
• Coordinate with regional and global project teams, supporting delivery across multiple time zones when required.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

Education

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related technical field.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in BIM modelling and documentation of electrical building systems.
• Familiarity with modelling standards and electrical design principles; exposure to multidisciplinary coordination is essential.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks Manage.
• Working knowledge of BIM 360 / ACC and Microsoft Office tools.
• Understanding of electrical system types (e.g., power, lighting, emergency systems, grounding, fire alarm).

Soft Skills

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work well in teams and meet project deadlines.

Desirable but not required

• Exposure to international project standards and codes (e.g., IEC, NEC, BS, AS/NZS).
• Experience collaborating with regional or global teams across different time zones.
