This is an opportunity to work in a fun and challenging environment, using market-leading security testing tools and platforms to provide security testing services to our large client base. You will play a key role in delivering and managing client security programs throughout the year, building relationships with clients, and ensuring our services meet their needs. Additionally, you will support the senior TAM team in developing new service lines offered by the company.

  • Line management of a small Vulnerability Management team
  • Setting up security programs with clients based on their requirements
  • Running and verifying network and application vulnerability scans
  • Writing and delivering client reports
  • Analyzing external and internal attack surface outputs to identify and communicate risks
  • Working directly with customers to prioritize remediation efforts
  • Providing support and answering client queries
  • Acting as the customer advocate within the Attack Surface Management Team
  • Owning operational relationships with customers
  • Identifying efficiency and process improvements for operational teams
  • Serving as an SME to clients to enhance service quality and maintain customer roadmaps
  • Assisting with onboarding new customers and understanding their business risks
  • Leading and mentoring junior consultants and analysts
  • Fostering a collaborative team culture focused on knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
  • Collaborating with departmental leadership as an SME to ensure success

Qualifications

  • Excellent understanding of basic cybersecurity principles
  • Proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Experience with network and web application security
  • Strong experience with scanning tools such as Nexpose Rapid 7, Qualys, HP WebInspect, IBM AppScan, Tenable Nessus, Burp, NMAP, etc.
  • Understanding of vulnerability linkage and risk impact
  • Ability to identify vulnerabilities with higher risk than their score indicates
  • Experience with EASM platforms like Cycognito
  • Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Excellent client communication skills
  • Good consultancy skills

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients as a trusted advisor for ASM solutions
  • Conduct regular meetings to understand client needs, address concerns, and identify improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with sales to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on ASM needs

Desirable competencies:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Strong experience in Information Security
  • CRT and/or IASME Vulnerability assessment Plus certification
  • Understanding of web services architecture and technologies
  • Experience with secure software development
  • Knowledge of PCI DSS and PCI ASV testing requirements
  • Knowledge of Cyber Essentials requirements
  • Understanding of DDoS mitigation
  • Experience with Python and Java
  • Understanding of ServiceNow
  • UK Security Check (SC) clearance is desirable but not essential
