Overview Our client, an emerging force in the social and creator industry, is rapidly scaling a platform that empowers creators and communities to grow, monetize, and connect—on their own terms. They’re looking for a Dedicated DevOps Engineer to be the backbone of their cloud operations, keeping infrastructure reliable, secure, and optimized as the platform evolves. This isn’t just another support role—you’ll be the go-to expert for infrastructure, automation, and deployment in a separate capacity from the core app development team. You'll work directly with AWS systems, automate pipelines, and fine-tune everything for performance, security, and scale. Location: Remote – Open to candidates from the Philippines only Schedule: To be Discussed Compensation: Depending on Experience Responsibilities Architect, manage, and optimize AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, etc.). Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (and/or similar tools). Automate system provisioning, deployments, and monitoring processes. Ensure high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency across all environments. Collaborate with dev teams to support smooth deployments in a Ruby on Rails environment. Implement effective monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems. Support compliance, data security, and infrastructure best practices. Requirements 3+ years in a DevOps Engineer role Strong expertise in AWS services and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.). Solid experience in CI/CD using Jenkins (GitHub Actions, CircleCI a plus). Familiarity with Ruby on Rails production environments. Experience with Docker , Kubernetes , and modern deployment pipelines. Strong scripting capabilities (Bash, Python, or similar). Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Owns/Uses a Macbook for work Bonus Points For Experience in high-growth startups or social/creator platforms . Knowledge of monitoring tools like Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus, or Grafana. Experience with cost-optimization strategies for AWS-based SaaS products.
