Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination
    • Supervise construction activities and ensure adherence to project plans.
    • Allocate tasks and monitor the progress of crew members.
  • Team Management
    • Train, motivate, and guide team members.
    • Enforce compliance with company policies and safety protocols.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Ensure all work meets industry standards and client requirements.
    • Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Safety Oversight
    • Implement and monitor safety measures on-site.
    • Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure proper use of equipment.
  • Resource Management
    • Oversee the use of tools, materials, and equipment.
    • Report on inventory needs and manage supply requisitions.
  • Communication
    • Serve as the liaison between the crew, project managers, and clients.
    • Provide regular updates and maintain accurate records of progress and challenges.
Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certifications in construction is a plus. Proven experience as a Foreman or in a supervisory role, preferably in construction or a related field.

Skills
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Basic knowledge of construction tools, methods, and safety protocols.
Certifications
  • OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) certification.
  • First aid and CPR certification.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina to oversee long hours on-site and lift heavy materials when needed.
Other Qualifications
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving ability under pressure.
