Overview We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Merchandising Manager to lead product planning, assortment, and inventory strategies for our beauty and personal care portfolio. The ideal candidate has a strong background in retail merchandising within the beauty industry, understands emerging trends in skincare and cosmetics, and is passionate about creating product offerings that resonate with the Filipino consumer. This role is responsible for managing the product lifecycle—from sourcing and development to in-store execution—while collaborating closely with marketing, sales, and suppliers to ensure profitable growth and brand alignment. DIRECT DIGITAL APPLICATION LINK: Duties and Responsibilities Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Product Development Timeline Adherence Maintain a 90% track record of meeting development milestones (e.g., formulation, testing, packaging, etc) At least 90% of the products in the development pipeline should be launched as scheduled Regulatory Compliance Coordinate with suppliers to obtain 100% of the necessary documentation requirements for local processing of FDA approval Timely submission of all requirements Collaboration and Cross-functional Communication Effective collaboration with suppliers, R&D and local team to ensure smooth project flow. Weekly updates to local team on the status of projects (every Monday) Cost Management Monitor adherence to budget targets for product development phases. 100% of development projects completed within approved budget Supplier Sourcing Recommend at least one new supplier per month (whether packaging, ingredient etc) and build a pool of reliable and cost-efficient partners in China for health and beauty products Market Trend Research Be ahead of the curve and gather information on at least two new products per month that are trending in China or elsewhere for potential development Product research including competitive analysis and customer analysis Inventory Management Monitor stock levels and manage inventory turnover to minimize overstock and stockouts. Work closely with supply chain/logistics to ensure timely delivery of merchandise. Team Leadership Manage, train, and develop a team of merchandisers or buyers. Collaborate with marketing, store operations, and finance departments Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Product Design, Engineering, or related field 3+ years of experience in product development, merchandising, or a related role Knowledgeable in importing policies and regulations Experience with regulatory documentation and FDA submissions Strong project management and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and quality #J-18808-Ljbffr
