About The Role As Systems Engineer – Linux, you will manage and maintain the Linux/Unix server environment and provide proactive and reactive support services. You will use automation tools such as Ansible on a day-to-day basis and assist customers with application rollouts via Ansible at times. What You’ll Do Use Ansible to perform day-to-day activities Use and modify existing Ansible playbooks to perform application rollouts in customer environments Meet client SLAs for system availability, uptime and reliability Proactively manage and monitor the system environment for continuing business support Perform role responsibilities and duties during business hours, with occasional after-hours and on-call as required Perform regular Project Services work and work at a Design/Architecture level Requirements At least 3 years of experience in a complex, corporate, multi-server IT environment Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7/8/9, CentOS or Oracle Linux; knowledge of Debian, Ubuntu, and SUSE advantageous Experience configuring and deploying servers, developing scripts, developing Ansible playbooks, supporting system infrastructure (VMware, oVirt, Nutanix) Comfortable using Ansible in day‑to‑day operations Experience with server security initiatives including system hardening and incident investigations Exceptional customer, problem‑solving and technical documentation skills; a team‑player Technical Skills Configuration Management : git, GitLab CI/CD, GitLab runners Monitoring : PRTG, Check_MK, Science Logic Automation / Scripting : Ansible, Python, Bash, PowerShell Software Packaging / Deployment : Red Hat Satellite, Docker / Buildah / Podman Benefits Hybrid work setup (twice a week) and a flexible schedule, plus spotter fees, HMO with free 4 dependents, leave credits, performance bonuses, and a work‑life balance environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
