Executive, Business Development (North Luzon) – foodpanda, Taguig, National Capital Region, Philippines.
Responsibilities- You will be part of our company’s growth by acquiring new restaurants to partner with us.
- You will exhaust leads and close deals with target restaurants by cold calling, fieldwork, virtual presentations, etc.; you will communicate the benefits of foodpanda's premium product and negotiate contracts with partner restaurants.
- Effectively and creatively present foodpanda’s packages to potential vendors.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure successful vendor incubation.
- Exceed sales goals by driving volume and quality sales, contributing as an individual and as part of a team; sales incentives available for exceptional performance.
- Be the local representative in the area: monitor competitor activities, gather feedback, and provide recommendations to maintain a healthy market share.
- Gather feedback from partner restaurants and provide recommendations for improvements to management; stay updated on the latest developments in order to contribute to foodpanda's success.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, mass communication or related area preferred.
- At least 1–2 years experience in sales, business development, upselling or related areas; field sales experience preferred.
- Good understanding of sales pipeline management.
- Strong communication skills; comfortable speaking English, Filipino, and local dialects where applicable.
- Open to fresh graduates; preferably with sales internship experience.
- Willingness to do extensive fieldwork within North Luzon.
- Persuasive and highly motivated to over-achieve sales targets.
- Clear, confident speaking voice and ability to establish rapport with customers/clients.
- Flexible and creative in dealing with customers/clients.
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM is an advantage.
- Self-motivated team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and independently.
