We are looking for a skilled and experienced Service Auto Electrician to diagnose, repair, and maintain the electrical systems of vehicles and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of automotive electrical systems, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently in the field or workshop. Key Responsibilities: Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical issues in vehicles and heavy machinery (e.g., trucks, buses, earthmoving equipment). Install, repair, or replace wiring, lighting systems, alternators, starters, batteries, and other electrical components. Use diagnostic tools and software to identify electrical faults accurately. Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent future issues. Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Read and interpret technical diagrams, wiring schematics, and manuals. Document all repairs and services performed, including parts used and labor hours. Respond to service calls in the field and perform on-site repairs when necessary. Coordinate with mechanics and other technicians on complex repairs. Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment. Required Qualifications: Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent trade qualification. Proven experience as an auto electrician, preferably with heavy vehicles or equipment. Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, CAN bus systems, and diagnostics. Valid driver’s license (HR/HC desirable for field service roles). Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.
