The Tank Farm Lead oversees all petroleum storage and transfer operations within the facility’s tank farm located at Santa Cruz, Davao del Sur. This position ensures that product movement, storage integrity, and safety standards meet all company, industry, and regulatory requirements. The Tank Farm Lead plays a key role in coordinating product receipts, transfers, and shipments while supervising operators to maintain safe, compliant, and efficient terminal operations. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the tank farm, including receiving, transferring, and dispatching petroleum products. Ensure all tank farm activities comply with environmental, safety, and quality regulations (EPA, OSHA, DOT, NFPA, API). Monitor tank levels, pressures, and temperatures using gauges and SCADA systems; maintain accurate inventory balances. Oversee and verify the integrity of tanks, pipelines, and transfer systems through inspections and preventive maintenance schedules. Coordinate with pipeline, marine, and trucking operations to plan and execute product movement schedules. Lead, train, and mentor tank farm operators, ensuring proper adherence to operating procedures and safety practices. Respond to operational incidents, spills, or emergencies following company emergency response protocols. Maintain accurate operational logs, tank gauging records, and inventory reports for internal and regulatory compliance. Work with maintenance and HSE teams to identify and correct equipment or process deficiencies. Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing throughput, safety, and reliability. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Operations, or related field preferred. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in petroleum terminal or tank farm operations. Preferably with at least 1 year work experience in a lead, foreman, or supervisory capacity. Physical & Environmental Requirements Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and around petroleum facility. Capable of climbing tanks and working at heights or in confined spaces as required. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor when needed.
