About the role

Provides strategic leadership, governance, and integration of the Human Resource function in a multi-shift food manufacturing and retail organization. Translates business, production, sales, and expansion requirements into HR strategy, workforce plans, policies, budgets, and priorities; leads the HR functional supervisors; advises the CEO and management on organization and workforce matters; and ensures that HR services support compliant, productive, and uninterrupted operations through the designated functional owners.

Key responsibilities

  • Translate the Company's strategic direction, production plans, sales priorities, and expansion requirements into an integrated annual HR strategy and operating plan
  • Lead consolidated workforce planning and plantilla review, considering multi-shift operations, production requirements, critical positions, relievers/day-offs, seasonal demand, and approved manpower budgets
  • Review organizational structures, job levels, spans of control, and position requirements and recommend organizational changes, position controls, or workforce allocation to management
  • Develop, review, and recommend company-wide HR policies, standards, and governance frameworks for management approval
  • Oversee the HR compliance framework covering applicable Philippine labor laws, DOLE issuances, regional wage orders, employment requirements, data privacy obligations, and internal Company policies
  • Serve as the principal HR adviser to the CEO and management on workforce, organization, policy, labor cost, and people-related matters
  • Direct, coach, and monitor the performance of the Employee Engagement and Labor Relations Supervisor, Talent Management Supervisor, and Compensation & Benefits Supervisor
  • Consolidate HR dashboards and management reports covering headcount, plantilla status, vacancies, turnover, absenteeism, workforce movement, labor cost, HR service levels, and other agreed HR indicators
  • Lead the preparation and management of the annual HR budget, including manpower-related HR resources, programs, systems, professional services, and other approved initiatives
  • Build the capability, accountability, and leadership effectiveness of the HR team through coaching, performance management, knowledge sharing, and development of future HR leaders

About you

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, Behavioral Science, or related field
  • At least five (5) years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least three (3) years in a supervisory or managerial role preferred
  • Experience in food manufacturing, production, warehousing, retail/outlet, or other multi-shift operations is preferred
