The Trade Marketing Assistant plays a vital role in bridging marketing and sales by supporting the development and execution of trade marketing strategies that drive brand visibility, market penetration, and sales growth. The role focuses on the implementation of sales- and marketing-driven activities, including events, sponsorships, sales support, and trade promotions. It aims to ensure brand objectives are aligned with on-ground trade execution while strengthening engagement with key sales units and channel partners.

Responsibilities
  • Event Management & Sponsorship Execution: Review sponsorship and partnership proposals; recommend strategic event participation based on brand alignment and impact potential.
  • Proactively identify and evaluate new event opportunities aligned with the brand’s strategic goals.
  • Recommend level and nature of involvement for each selected event (e.g., full sponsorship, booth participation, co-branding, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain a rolling 3-month calendar of Marketing and Sales events, updating regularly based on new opportunities and changes.
  • Lead planning, coordination, and on-site execution of marketing-led events and sponsorships.
  • Ensure event implementation aligns with pre-defined standards and objectives.
  • Collect post-event insights (e.g., attendance, lead conversion, audience feedback) and propose actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to identify needed tools and materials for activations (e.g., sales kits, booth setup, marketing collaterals, sales scripts, lead capture forms).
  • Assist in the planning and execution of sales-led events and promotions.
  • Monitor execution quality and alignment with brand messaging during activations.
  • Gather feedback and performance data from sales-led activities to inform improvements and future initiatives.
  • Support adaptation of pricing plans, sales promotions, and communication strategies for different sales units and channel partners.
  • Oversee partner engagement through community management (e.g., managing Viber groups, releasing promotional and motivational content, sharing program updates).
Sales Performance Tracking
  • Update and maintain the Product Sales Performance Tracker regularly with monthly and year-to-date (YTD) sales data by account or sales unit.
  • Monitor trends and anomalies in sales performance to support timely intervention or opportunities for marketing-driven support.
Cross-Support for Legacy Businesses
  • Assist in developing and distributing marketing collaterals needed by the Company Legacy Business Sales Teams.
  • Coordinate executional requirements for marketing initiatives specific to the Legacy brands or sub-brands under the company portfolio.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in Marketing, Sales, Trade Marketing, or Business Development.
  • Strong exposure to sales promotions, trade execution, and partner engagement initiatives.
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments, particularly with sales teams.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Industry knowledge in telecommunications, FMCG, or tech-based services is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (for tracking/reporting) and PowerPoint (for presentations).
  • Strategic and analytical thinking; creative problem-solving; time management and organizational agility; collaboration and stakeholder management; initiative and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
