FCI RFI Analyst

We are looking for a Financial Crime Investigations (FCI) RFI Analyst to join our global compliance operations. In this role, you will help investigate suspicious activity, manage regulatory requests for information (RFIs), and ensure that Binance stays ahead in fighting financial crime in the Web3 space. You will work cross-functionally with legal, compliance, and customer-facing teams to protect users and uphold regulatory standards.

• Review, manage, and resolve RFI and investigative cases in line with internal SLAs.
• Maintain escalation and off-boarding logs, ensuring thorough documentation.
• Escalate complex or high-risk cases to MLROs and senior compliance leadership.
• Craft clear, concise, and effective RFIs to users to minimize friction and gather key intel.
• Identify inconsistencies in customer activity and assess associated risks.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for RFIs, mentoring and advising internal teams.
• Collaborate with blockchain analytics tools like Chainalysis and Elliptic .
• Support AML/CFT efforts and remain informed of regulatory developments, especially around crypto.
• Assist in compliance administration and related operational activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years in investigations, AML, regulatory audits, or financial compliance.
• Prior experience in SARs, RFIs, or KYC/AML roles at fintechs or financial institutions.
• Strong knowledge of blockchain analytics tools and AML regulations.
• Meticulous attention to detail, excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to handle ambiguity in fast-paced environments.
