External Innovation Scientist

As an External Innovation Scientist, you’ll play a key role in bringing fresh, trend-driven ideas to life. You’ll manage the full formula development process—from concept to launch—by working closely with external partners and internal teams. Your work will help deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and sustainable innovations that align with Avon’s global strategy and meet the needs of our international markets. What you'll be working on: Developing and assessing cosmetic product formulas in collaboration with external vendors Supporting product testing, claims substantiation, and regulatory compliance Managing multiple projects while ensuring timely delivery and high standards Documenting formula specifications and ensuring they meet cost, quality, and manufacturing requirements Staying updated on global regulatory and environmental standards Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, QA, and more What we're looking for: A degree in Chemistry or a related technical field At least 1 year of experience in product development, ideally in cosmetics or consumer goods Strong communication and project management skills A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently Technical knowledge in formula development and quality assurance A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a passion for innovation Seniority level Associate Employment type Full-time Job function Research Industries Personal Care Product Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
