Payroll Specialist

AECOM Taguig, National Capital Region, Philippines Overview Join to apply for the Payroll Specialist role at AECOM . The role will support day-to-day payroll services for the assigned region (Canada) by processing activities in compliance with established methodologies, regulations, service-level agreements (SLA), and processes. The role is also responsible for administering and processing relevant payroll and HR services systems activities. Responsibilities Accurately and timely perform assigned activities in support to the payroll services. Provide administrative assistance to regulatory alignment activities to ensure compliant payroll processing (Taxation, Legislations, and other regulations). Perform systems and documentation management activities to ensure compliance and alignment to relevant payroll records and documentations. Escalate and analyze identified issues and concerns to the Team Lead for timely resolution. Maintain the SOP/DTP of current processes and incorporate documentation updates as required. Perform simple but varied tasks in compliance with service level agreements, processes, policies, and procedures. Assess identified issues and collate documentation to assist in investigating and resolving common and recurring issues. Participate in assigned audit-related activities. Support selected simple process improvement initiatives to streamline processes. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or at least 3 years of relevant work experience in Payroll Experience in processing Canada region payroll; end-to-end payroll processing is preferred Intermediate proficiency in MS Office tools Basic knowledge and understanding of HR processes and procedures Experience in high-volume/high-headcount payroll processing Experience using Empower/Easy Pay, ADP, Global View, Celegro, Workday, or other Payroll Systems Experience in Oracle is a plus Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
