About the Job: Administrative Accounting Assistants are responsible for handling tasks related to accounting and finances of a restaurant. They are expected to handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, prepare invoices, and manage or create financial records. Duties and Responsibilities Recording transactions in the general ledger—the master document for capturing financial transactions, and accurately coding and categorizing those transactions, especially expenses. Creating financial statements to determine financial health of the restaurant including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statements. Handle basic financial tasks such as data collection such as managing the restaurant’s inventory management, as well as the payroll. Process invoices, payments, and expense reports (daily/weekly/monthly). Develop strategies for cost-saving initiatives and contribute to restaurant’s financial success. Track and record expenses and reconciled accounts to maintain accurate, current and compliant financial records. Qualifications and Skills One year related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic accounting skills such as strong numerical and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Sheets and other related softwares. High attention-to-detail and ability to work to deadlines. Efficient Multi-Tasking Skills. Proactivity and Excellent Communication Skills. Willing to relocate / commute, as needed For relocation, lodging will be provided, if needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
