Civil & MEP Quantity Surveyor Unitan Construction & Development Corporation Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines Responsibilities Prepare and validate quantity take-offs and Bill of Quantities (BOQs) for civil, structural, and MEP disciplines. Analyze project drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to develop accurate cost estimates. Assist in preparing tender documents, cost plans, and procurement schedules for civil and MEP packages. Evaluate subcontractor/supplier quotations and conduct cost comparisons and negotiations. Monitor and control project budgets, identifying potential cost variances or risks. Track and manage change orders, variations, and update cost reports accordingly. Conduct site inspections to verify actual quantities and validate subcontractor progress billing. Support contract administration tasks such as progress claims, final accounts, and dispute resolution. Liaise with project managers, site engineers, and MEP coordinators to ensure scope alignment and accurate reporting. Ensure compliance with construction standards, contract terms, and local building codes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or Quantity Surveying. At least 35 years of relevant experience in both civil and MEP quantity surveying roles. Strong understanding of construction costing, contracts (e.g., FIDIC, NEC), and project budgeting. Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity surveying or estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, CostOS, Planswift). Excellent communication, negotiation, and documentation skills.
