Job Description

This role combines creative design thinking with technical engineering, translating CAD drawings into physical displays for luxury retail spaces. You will create detailed technical drawings for high-profile window installations and in-store builds, collaborating with manufacturing teams to ensure designs transition from concept to reality in a fast-paced production environment. This position is ideal for professionals who want to see their technical precision come to life in prestigious retail environments while working on projects that set the standard for luxury retail presentation.

Compensation & Logistics

Hourly Rate: The equivalent of US$ 10.3 per hour in the applicant’s local currency

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40h per week

Schedule: Flexible

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Side Note: This is a permanent work-from-home position with an Independent Contractor arrangement. Selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection and handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are hourly and depend on performance in the application process.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed CAD drawings and technical specifications for luxury retail displays and window installations
  • Develop production-ready drawings that can be directly utilised by manufacturing teams and factory equipment
  • Design innovative builds and displays tailored for high-end retail environments
  • Execute technical drawings with speed and precision while maintaining high attention to detail
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure all designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround expectations

Requirements

  • MUST SUBMIT PORTFOLIOS
  • Advanced proficiency in CAD software with demonstrated expertise
  • Strong hands-on experience with SolidWorks for 3D modeling and design
  • Expert-level skills in SketchUp for conceptual design and visualization
  • Solid knowledge of AutoCAD for technical drafting
  • Previous experience in retail industry, sign companies, or retail store design highly preferred
  • Background in display manufacturing with practical understanding of production processes
  • Comprehensive knowledge of materials, construction methods, and manufacturing capabilities
  • Proven ability to create technical drawings that translate directly into physical products
  • Exceptional ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced production environment
