Job Description Assure and manage the efficiency of the Underwriting Operations Assure that all business/underwriting process is within the approved company guidelines Assure that all the reports and requirement by Government Agencies (IC) are submitted within the prescribed time line. Assure that all process, procedures and underwriting guidelines are reviewed and updated accordingly. Assure that all rules, memorandum and regulation imposed by the Board of Directors and Management are well conveyed to his/her subordinates. Assure that the strategies of the department are aligned with the company’s goals/objective. Provide underwriting reports to the top management if necessary. Responsible for the continuous growth and development of his/her subordinates. Conduct training if deemed necessary. Maintains good and professional relationship amongst members of the team. Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Top Management. Qualifications Advance knowledge in Non-Life Insurance With at least 5-years of experience in non-life insurance underwriting. Knowledgeable in all lines of business and reinsurance transactions. Can do or has experience in developing Underwriting Manual/Guidelines Knowledgeable with the rules and regulations governing insurance business Knowledgeable in Insurance System With Strong Patience and can work under pressure Good in verbal and written communication skills Knowledgeable to use Microsoft Office Tools, Excel, Power Point, Word etc. #J-18808-Ljbffr
