  • Responsible for supporting the Risk Associate and the Head of Risk and Compliance in managing and overseeing the effective implementation of the Enterprise Risk Framework of the Company
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to ensure timely for identification, management and reporting of risks from a 2nd line of defense perspective
  • Guide the 1st line of defense in proactively identifying, managing and reporting risks within the latter’s area of expertise
  • Perform risk assessment by analyzing current risks and identifying potential and emerging risks that may affect the company
  • Work hand-in-hand with other Risk and Compliance Officers in actively engaging various stakeholders (e.g., operations, commercial team, IT, compliance, finance, actuarial, marketing, people, legal, etc.) to achieve an enterprise view of the organization’s evolving risk profile, exposures and mitigation
  • Champion a healthy risk culture by securing stakeholder by-in and developing forward-looking policies, rolling out the enterprise risk framework and working hand-in-hand with the business to proactively identify and manage risks
  • Regularly monitor risks by looking at various key risk indicators and analyze trends and drivers
  • Assist Risk and Compliance Officers in coordinating with the Local Stakeholders, Regional Risk Team, Internal Audit and External Audit
Job Description

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or any Business related course
  • Has at least 1-2 years of experience in financial services preferably in audit, actuarial, risk management, or related work
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Risk Management is an advantage
  • Effective at analyzing problems, synthesizing relevant information, identifying key issues, and recommending appropriate solutions
  • Experience in asset-liability management, investment, capital management, financial analysis, and financial projections is desirable but not a must
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Detail-oriented, good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Effective stakeholder management skills are important
