Overview

The Certified Public Accountant position oversees the financial reporting, budgeting, and internal control processes of the subsidiary, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The role involves coordinating audits, and analyzing financial data to support strategic decision-making. Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead an accountant. Offer support and guidance.
  • Prepare budgets, KPI reports, forecasts and executive level financial reports.
  • Review the multinational business units’ weekly billing packets.
  • Review subsidiary ledgers and other financial and accounting records.
  • Support the business units operations department with weekly financial calculations and Ad-hoc financial tasks.
  • Verifying the finance function is compliant and enforce collaboration and accountability across all departments.
  • Assist on finance Ad-Hoc assignments as needed.
  • Assist in developing internal controls for all accounting processes.
  • Act as a point of contact between internal departments and accounting, serving as a liaison between accounting and external parties, including clients, suppliers, and lenders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • Audit experience and managing a team of accounting resources.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting.
  • CPA or MBA is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability for financial analysis.
  • Detail oriented with a flexible mindset.
  • High proficiency in Excel.
