Essential Functions

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons tailored to students’ needs, abilities, and achievements.
  • Assign, assess, and provide feedback on student work; track and report on progress, performance, and behavior.
  • Promote students’ overall growth, well-being, and discipline while ensuring their health and safety.
  • Communicate and collaborate with colleagues and school leaders to support student learning.
  • Develop and evaluate teaching strategies, materials, and programs in line with school guidelines.
  • Participate in peer reviews, appraisals, professional development, and school-related meetings.
  • Utilize technology and multimedia tools in lesson delivery; create modules and course outlines as needed.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning, assessments, and pastoral care arrangements.
  • Maintain and manage teaching equipment, requisitions, and attendance records.
  • Support school events, substitute for absent teachers, and perform other assigned duties.
  • Recommend student placement levels through assessment and documentation.
  • Foster a learning culture that emphasizes facilitation, reflection, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Must be a college graduate
  • With relevant German teaching experience
  • With official C1 proficiency level certification
