Your Role as F&A Account Manager

As a Finance & Accounting Account Manager (or as we like to call it, the Client Success Navigator), you’ll be the driving force behind ensuring our clients’ outsourced finance and accounting services run seamlessly. You’ll oversee service delivery, manage client communications, and ensure KPIs and SLAs are consistently met. Think of yourself as the bridge between clients and our delivery teams—aligning expectations, solving problems, and driving continuous improvements that keep clients confident and satisfied.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned finance and accounting outsourcing clients.
  • Lead client onboarding, ensuring smooth knowledge transfer, documentation, and process alignment.
  • Manage client communications, including weekly updates, monthly service reviews, and issue resolution.
  • Oversee invoicing, billing accuracy, collections monitoring, and financial reporting deliverables.
  • Track and report on SLAs and KPIs, preparing performance reports and action plans for improvements.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams (AP, AR, GL, Payroll, etc.) to ensure service quality and client satisfaction.
  • Escalate and resolve client issues quickly and effectively, maintaining high client trust.
  • Identify opportunities for service expansion or process enhancements within client accounts.
  • Support compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and client-specific requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and boost operational efficiency.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • CPA certification
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in client account management, outsourcing services, or finance operations.
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes (AP, AR, GL, Payroll, Financial Reporting).
  • Experience leading teams of Team Leaders or large teams
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent client engagement, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, GSuite, and accounting/ERP systems
  • Experience in documenting and monitoring processes and workflows
