About the Role: They are looking for a Network Operations Engineer (LAN/WAN) to join their infrastructure team and play a key role in ensuring seamless network connectivity and performance across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in network design, operations, and troubleshooting, with a focus on delivering secure, high‑performing, and scalable network solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN network architectures supporting enterprise operations. Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues using tools such as SolarWinds, Wireshark, and Nagios. Manage routing and switching configurations, including VLANs, STP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS. Ensure network security through proper configuration of firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Lead and support incident response activities for network outages and performance degradations. Develop and maintain detailed network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support business continuity and network optimization initiatives. Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend enhancements for network reliability and scalability. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in network operations or engineering in an enterprise environment. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and switching technologies (VLANs, STP). Experience with MPLS, SD‑WAN, and VPN technologies. Proficiency in network troubleshooting and performance optimization. Familiarity with network automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.). Preferred Qualifications: Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCDP, JNCIP, or equivalent. Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
