Role Overview Kepler is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Engineer Supervisor/Director to guide our engineering team in the ongoing development and evolution of our platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both frontend and backend technologies, with particular emphasis on React, TypeScript, and Python. This role offers the opportunity to lead a talented team while making significant technical contributions to a sophisticated platform used by marketing professionals. Responsibilities Lead a team of full-stack engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and code review Design and implement robust full-stack solutions using: React/TypeScript frontend with Mantine component library Python backend services (Flask, FastAPI, or similar) GraphQL APIs with Apollo Client (frontend) and Python-based GraphQL servers Drive technical decision-making processes while balancing business requirements with technical constraints Establish best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment processes across the entire stack Collaborate with product management and UI/UX designers to translate requirements into technical specifications Design and implement scalable data models and APIs to support complex business logic Optimize application performance and ensure high availability across multiple applications Champion type safety and code reusability across the frontend and backend Participate in the full development lifecycle from planning to deployment Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with at least 2 years in a leadership role, with experience managing others in both project work and career progression Expert knowledge of React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript practices; strong proficiency in Python and related frameworks (Flask, FastAPI, or similar) Experience with SQL databases, ORM technologies (SQLAlchemy), and GraphQL (Apollo Client and Python-based servers) Proficiency with UI component libraries (particularly Mantine or similar) Experience with form management in complex React applications Strong understanding of state management patterns, testing frameworks, and deployment strategies Experience with build systems, module bundlers, and CI/CD pipelines Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English for technical discussions, documentation, and knowledge sharing Demonstrated proficiency with preferred development environment (Mac or Linux) and related development tools Ability to collaborate synchronously with team members during core hours (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM US Eastern Time) while respecting work-life balance Experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior developers Preferred Qualifications Experience in advertising technology or marketing analytics Knowledge of budget management and financial data systems Experience developing multi-app workspaces or monorepos Familiarity with data visualization libraries and techniques Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices Experience with real-time data processing systems Understanding of data privacy regulations and security best practices Experience designing, implementing, or maintaining systems compliant with ISO 27001 and other security frameworks such as SOC 2, NIST 800-53, or HIPAA requirements Contributions to open-source projects or technical community Knowledge of first principles (e.g. basics of tools, internals of the computer, low level concepts and how work actually gets done, etc) Strategic thinking skills (e.g. high level concepts, fundamental logic/reasoning) Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field --- About MicroSourcing With over 9,000 professionals across 13 delivery centers, MicroSourcing is the pioneer and largest offshore provider of managed services in the Philippines.
