This is meaningful, connected work—on a global stage, with the backing of a company built for the future, and a robust benefits package designed to support your growth, well-being, and life beyond work. **Responsibilities :**JOB PURPOSE/MISSION/SUMMARY:Provides reporting and analytical support to the transportation functions in US to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness of deliveries.Collaborates with the US Distribution teams and third party logistics (3PL’s) providers to collect transportation data and ultimately analyzes these statistics and information. Prepares reports of findings of audit points. Joins the functional teams in evaluating plans, programs and projects to meet transportation objectives.KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:DATA COLLECTIONREPORT GENERATION AND ANALYSISDATA COLLECTION· Gathers daily delivery information from the system· Liaises with the 3PL’s to capture the following information pertaining to thedeliveries:o Shipment informationo Proof of Delivery detailso Road consignment notes (CMR)o Delivery address changesREPORT GENERATION AND ANALYSIS· Based on the data collected, generates the following reports:o Monthly metrics for freight payment which includes an audit report of actual transportation rates used vs. defined rate grid o Orders with consolidated deliveries · Analyzes and proposes improvements based on report findings: o Works with the US Distribution team to find ways to address disparity on transport rates o Recommends order consolidation approaches that results to more economical truck loadingCOMPETENCIES, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:· DATA COLLECTIONo Understanding of the Distribution functional areao Knowledge of the systems being used by supported functional areao Organizational skills· REPORT GENERATION AND ANALYSISo Knowledge of standard reporting toolso Attention to detailo Logical problem solving skillso Ability to present, interpret, discuss or write about the conclusions and resultsgained from researched and reported data· PERSONAL CREDIBILITYo Oral & Written Communicationo Interpersonal Relationshipo Handling Confidential & Sensitive Data & InformationEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS BASIC REQUIREMENTS:· Education: A Bachelor’s degree course· Experience: 2 years relevant work experience**Global Privacy Notice**Lexmark is committed to appropriately protecting and managing any personal information you share with us.
